Pink Patterns

Come on Barbie let’s go party – this is one trend I’m totally jumping on, probably because 99% of my pattern designs have some sort of pink in them!

I do love my pink patterns, and it is one of my favourite colours to design with.

What is really interesting is the psychology behind the colours we are attracted to. According to Rhinestones Unlimited, these are the meanings of some of my favourite shades of pink:

Bright Pink

This vibrant hue demonstrates strong feelings of passion and excitement in a relationship. It is symbolic of intense emotion and can represent the joy that comes with being in love.

Bubble Gum Pink

This bright, vibrant hue describes a playful and carefree attitude. It’s a reminder of the joys and innocence of childhood.

Hot Pink

This bold shade expresses self-assuredness and vibrancy. It’s a symbol of powerful femininity and an embracing of the beauty of being a woman.

Here are my pinkest of pink patterns with links to buying fabrics – I’d love to know which pattern is your favourite and what you love about pink!
